We will have a take home reader on Tuesday this week.  Your child will bring home a story that should be read to an adult.  The story booklet should be signed by the person listening to the story and returned to school on Wednesday.

**BOOK IT – JANUARY GOAL – 250 MINUTES  - DUE 1/30.
For the next few months we will be participating in the Book It at-home reading program sponsored by Pizza Hut.  At the beginning of each month your child will be given a calendar with that month’s reading goal.  Your child will read the specified number of minutes, have the calendar signed by an adult, and return the calendar to school by the due date.  When the calendar is returned to school, I will give your child a coupon for a FREE personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.  Your child will also receive a 100% as a Book It reading grade.  Failure to complete this assignment will result in a 0% as a Book It reading grade.
