We will learn about using commas correctly.

** Reading
  We will read the story “A Birthday Basket for Tia”.  We will do related comprehension, vocabulary, and skills activities.  Our focus will be drawing conclusions and summarizing.

**Writing
We will write about celebrations.


*Cursive
We will write cursive sentences and attempt to transpose print to cursive.


**HOMEWORK
We will have a take home reader on Tuesday this week.  Your child will bring home a story that should be read to an adult.  The story booklet should be signed by the person listening to the story and returned to school on Wednesday.
